Where we play
From the Serbian First League and regional tournaments to the European EuroLeague — Smeč’s calendar has been full for almost two decades.
ParaVolley Europe
PVE EuroLeague
The EuroLeague, run by ParaVolley Europe, gathers the best sitting volleyball clubs on the continent. Smeč stepped onto the European stage in February 2025 in Wrocław — and made history straight away: a Silver EuroLeague silver medal and a first-ever place among the six best clubs in Europe.
In April 2025 the club made its debut at the Golden EuroLeague final tournament in Saint-Jean-de-Moirans, France, finishing 5th after matches against clubs from Kyiv, Sarajevo and Banja Luka. February 2026 in Fermo, Italy, brought another Silver EuroLeague silver — along with individual awards for best blocker (Svetislav Brcanski) and best spiker (Dragiša Zorić) — and in April 2026 Smeč was back in the Golden EuroLeague, this time in Lukavac.

Serbian First League
Smeč has competed in domestic league play since 2010, and in the Serbian First League in sitting volleyball since its founding in 2013. The club won the title in that very first season, with a perfect 12 wins from 12 matches.
Over the years the league has pitted us against Feniks from Kikinda, Borac from Novi Sad, Banja Luka, Laktaši, Crvenka and other clubs — and we have rarely come home without a medal.

The Belgrade Trophy
The Belgrade Trophy (Trofej Beograda) is an international sitting volleyball tournament that Smeč has organised since 2009, together with the Belgrade Sports Federation of Persons with Disabilities and under the patronage of the City of Belgrade.
Across thirteen editions the tournament has welcomed clubs and national teams from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Hungary, Greece, Poland and the Czech Republic. In 2018 the trophy stayed in the hosts’ hands for the first time.

Every season Smeč travels to long-standing tournaments across the region — in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary and Montenegro. Some have been part of the club’s calendar for more than 15 years:

Čelić (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
A traditional tournament we have played since 2010 — winners in 2016, silver in 2019 and 2021.

Derventa (Republika Srpska)
Winners in 2019, with a string of bronze medals over the years — the 2013 edition was played as the Princess Diana Memorial.

Alpe Adria (Slovenia)
Gold in 2014 and 2016, silver in 2013 and 2019.

Winners of the Verba Laszlo Cup in 2013.
